Except for Survey Year, adding additional data in the search form will narrow your search and return fewer results, because you will only see results that meet ALL your criteria. For example, if you enter data into the School Name field and the City field, your results will only include schools that match the criteria you entered for School Name and for City. The Survey Year field is different: selecting more years will show you results from any of those years. For example, if you select only 2009 (which is the default), your results will only include entities with data from the 2009 collection. If 2006 and 2009 are selected, your results will also include entities with data from the 2006 collection.
Use the Additional Search Options fields in conjunction with or instead of the basic school information. Add more criteria to make the search more specific. If you get no results, remove some of the criteria. Note that the search will yield only schools or districts that meet ALL of the criteria you enter or check.
